Chambermaid

Duties:

• To ensure that the cleanliness of rooms and the comfort of guests in her section of rooms meet the Hotel standards.
• To clean and tidy the rooms assigned according the received instructions.
• To clean bathrooms, washbasins, dust all furniture, polish all metal fittings, towel rails etc.
• To be prompt and respond quickly to calls by guests and what is asked for her.
• To inform the Executive Housekeeper of anything unusual.
• To be discreet and anything found in the rooms must to be returned to the Housekeeping straightaway.  
• Apply disinfectants and other cleaners to counters, tubs, toilets, mirrors, windows and other surfaces in rooms and common areas of hotels.
• Vacuum floors in rooms, hallways, and lobbies.
• Remove and replace dirty or used sheets, pillowcases, towels and other linens in rooms and bathrooms.
• Sweep and mop floors in corridors, dining areas, kitchens, rooms, and lobbies.
• Inform hotel management, housekeepers or front desk staff of broken or malfunctioned bulbs, televisions or fixtures in rooms and other areas of the hotel.
• Empty trash cans, refrigerators used by departing guests and ashtrays.
• To carry out any other relevant duties as directed by Management. 
• Ensuring service excellence according to the company’s standards
• Be able to remain calm under pressure conditions
• To work as part of a team and be able to meet the department’s objectives

Requirements:

• The applicants must speak Greek and English (any other language will be considered as an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferable at least one year of previous experience
