CAD Engineer

As CAD Engineer at Melexis, you will ensure the the installation and support of all used EDA / non EDA tools, foundry development kits and associated technology files in order to provide all R&D teams over all development sites a well performing, stable, standard and intuitively usable CAD environment More specifically, you will

• maintain and integrate all EDA and non EDA tools in their operating environment
• take the lead in developing custom technology files, automation scripts & tools and integrate them in our EDA platforms
• ensure 2nd or 3rd line support on all EDA tools towards our development organization
• take a role in complex integration projects involving version control systems with EDA platforms and other project management systems
• evaluate new tools and perform feasibility studies on integration
• support our Software Asset Manager in maintaining all license servers and software upgrades
