Experience

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification with a focus on design or tool and mold making
• Several years of relevant experience in injection molding and plastic tool design
• Excellent proficiency in leading 3D CAD programs
• In-depth understanding of injection molding requirements, materials science in the plastics sector, manufacturing processes, and tolerance management
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and solution-oriented working style

Your tasks

• Independent design of complex injection molding tools and molds, taking into account material, process, and component geometry
• Efficient use of common 3D CAD programs for designs, detailing, and assemblies, especially for injection molding
• Active participation in the analysis and optimization of injection molding processes, including technical support in material and parameter selection
• Creation of precise technical documents and assurance of design quality in the injection molding area
• Close coordination with specialist departments to ensure smooth processes and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle
