Then you should join us to lead & develop the Global Foodservice Brand & Sustainability organization and work with the local markets to deliver on our ambition of making Arla PRO brand a leading B2B brand in the Foodservice industry.

As our new Director and part of the FS Leadership Team reporting to Head of Global Foodservice, Cecilia Kocken, you will be responsible to build up the Brand & Sustainability organization and be a instrumental player in building the Future of Dairy in Foodservice.

The role is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and will include some travelling.

 

About the job

 

In this new position as Director for Brand & Sustainability you will set direction, build brand and sustainability capabilities, establish WoW and secure alignment in close collaboration with local markets. Referring directly to Arla Foods´ Sustainability Board, you will also be responsible for developing and leading the execution of Arla PRO´s sustainability strategy. As such, you will lead the FS workstream in Arla´s commercialization of sustainability board (CSB).

This role has a team of direct reports, but your indirect influencing skills are equally important, as your success depends on how you engage with and set up local markets for success – leading in the matrix. As such, local (senior) marketing managers and PM´s will have a dotted line to you and your team, and your stakeholder landscape is big, complex and diverse.

Among others, you can look forward to being responsible for:

  • Build equity on the Arla PRO brand (masterbrand + big bets) and drive scale & effectiveness in implementation of the new brand position
  • Build a leading position on sustainability for Arla PRO and commercialize through brand & spike positions
  • Build & scale Arla PRO Core portfolio, increase MRO across markets and identify and drive new commercial opportunities on core portfolio and scale across markets
  • Build a strong and competent FS marketing community with effective process, WoW and focus on delivering strategy. Implement boosted marketing principles (agency management, reduce NWS, etc.) and build digital capabilities
  • Lead the yearly Brand Planning process with local marketing to build strong and aligned yearly plans that deliver on the 3:2:1 strategy and drives scale in execution
  • Track and follow up on implementation on brand, sustainability and portfolio plan in accordance with Arla´s Future26 strategy commitments
  • Build effective brand, sustainability and PM communities across FS that can drive scale and knowledge exchange

Who are you?

Your leadership skills – both direct and indirect – will be your key to success in this position. You are able to and experienced with working in large matrix organizations, where you effectively influence and motivate others. You are confident in taking lead and setting the direction for your organization and inviting the organization to co-create the solutions. Your CV includes experience from building global brands, Portfolio Design & Portfolio Management and digital transformation. B2B experience is a plus, though not a must, but your passion for customer centricity and devotion to building brands in digital ecosystem is mandatory.

Needless to say, you have a strong commercial understanding (past experience from markets could be an asset), and you understand how to commercialize sustainability and lead complex sustainability projects.

In addition, you:

  • Hold a master’s degree and bring +10 years of relevant commercial experience in leadership positions within both local and global roles
  • Experienced in driving a change agenda and proven transformational leadership
  • Have exceptional communication skills enabling you to deliver clear-cut messages to stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Have a holistic and strategic approach to your tasks and great collaboration skills
