The punker Group develops, manufactures and markets metal radial blower wheels used in a wide range of industries, including HVAC, industrial applications such as compressor cooling, car washes and fume exhaust and dust collection, and the agricultural and food industries. The punker Group produces around 4 million metal fan wheels annually for more than 1,000 customers around the world. This makes punker the largest manufacturer of metal fan wheels of this type in Europe.

The foundation of punker GmbH Apparatebau und Wärmetechnik on April 1, 1954 in Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein, by Hans Flensfeldt laid the foundation for the success story of the punker Group. Since then, punker has become the world's leading specialist and pioneer in the development and production of centrifugal fan wheels, cross-flow impellers and tangential fans made of metal. The high quality, sophisticated geometries, competent advice and high flexibility is due to the approximately 470 highly motivated employees of the punker group.
