Denmark’s rules depend on your citizenship and fall into three main categories:
Nordic Citizens
- No residence or work permit required
EU/EEA Citizens and Swiss Nationals
- No residence or work permit required
Citizens from Outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Nordic Countries
- You must apply for a residence and work permit
- This applies even if you hold an EU Blue Card from another EU country
