On the behalf of numerous hotels and restaurants located on the coasts of the Baltic Sea and the Northern Sea, the International Placement Service (German Federal Employment Agency) is looking for
Waiters / Service staff (m/f) for the summer season 2017
You lay and dress tables, welcome and seat diners, give recommendations regarding selection of food and drinks and accept orders from diners. You serve food and drinks, calculate and collect payment. You may also be responsible for preparing drinks or selling ice cream.
You do not need a formal qualification, but you have first job experience. You have good oral knowledge of German.
Employment:
Limited employment for at least 3 months between April and October 2017 with option to extend
Working hours:
40-48 hours / week, 5-6 days / week, shifts, weekend work
Payment:
Hourly wage 8,84 € - 12,00 € + TIP
The salary pretty much depends on your qualifications and experiences. It's open to negotiations.
Accommodation:
The employers provide accommodation. Some for free, others at very litte cost.
Places of work:
The places of work are located in Northern Germany, along the coasts of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea (on the islands Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Neuwerk in the North Sea; on the islands Fehmarn, Rügen, Darß/Zingst, Usedom in the Baltic Sea; in small and medium towns on the mainland‘s coast).
You will work very close to sea and nature. You can spend your leisure time at the extensive beaches and in the rural nature of one of Germany’s most enjoyable areas. Or you visit the metropolises of Hamburg and Berlin which are both only a stone's throw away.
