Job ID: 226630 Location: Manchester (UK), Hamburg (DE), Vejle (DK) Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time Siemens Wind Power Division has an exciting opportunity for a Global Head of Site Management to work within the Offshore Business. Based at our UK Office in Manchester (would also consider Hamburg or Vejle) the role will be responsible for global site management team located in three European hubs; Hamburg, Vejle and Manchester deployment. What are my responsibilities? You will be responsible for the leadership of the global site management team located in three European hubs; Hamburg, Vejle and Manchester You will develop organizational structures and optimize processes for offshore site management Forming of a strong, cross regional management team will be your main focus as well as creating a strong link to construction package management You will implement and execute construction standards and optimizations in construction workflows with a strong focus on time saving, transparency and cost saving You are responsible for ensuring the implementation of safety standards on all sites Optimization of cross regional resource planning of site management belongs to your duties You will be involved in interface management with key sister departments e.g. site execution, ports and assembly and construction standards What do I need to qualify for this job? University degree in construction or civil engineering Several years of experience in management with good commercial knowledge Experience in managing complex construction projects within infrastructure, civil works etc. Experience in the wind energy sector ideally, alternatively in-depth knowledge of the maritime (navigation, shipbuilding, port or offshore logistic), construction industry or oil and gas industry Intercultural leadership experience Good knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements Willingness to travel weekly between our three European hubs Expert knowledge in MS Office, experience with SAP is a plus Advanced English language skills are obligatory, knowledge of German and Danish is greatly beneficial Communication skills – Team player – Analytics – Result and quality orientation – Customer focus In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
