Your future area of responsibilities:
• As an Engineer for Vacuum Technology (m/f/d) you will become responsible for all tasks and project related activities in the field of vacuum and ultra-high vacuum technology as part of a team with the highest standards of quality and precision.
• Design, layout and possible evaluations and calculations for the vacuum related requirements for our components and systems.
• You will oversee the assembly, operation and testing of all ultra-high vacuum systems, and carry out the necessary vacuum processes and system tests for compliance with technical requirements and functional specifications before delivery.
• Planning of the relevant technical, scheduling and logistical issues within various projects while adhering to the time schedules.

Job requirements

Your profile: 

  • You can prove several years of professional engineering experience in the field of ultra-high vacuum technology with good references.
  • An academic degree (ideally M.Sc or Diploma) in the fields of applied physics, vacuum technology, mechanical engineering, or related fields would be beneficial
  • A high degree of personal responsibility, reliability, quality awareness, excellent teamwork and communication skills complete your profile perfectly.
  • Your computer skills and in particular the use of the MS Office package as well as other evaluation applications are up-to-date.
  • Besides good English skills (oral/written), German language skills would be beneficial as well.
