Aim of the position:
Entertains Guests in the discotheque creating the best atmosphere.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plays music in the Discotheque organizing lights, videos and special effects, to create the best atmosphere for Guests, adapting musical contents to their tastes and following their requests.
- Reports all problems and malfunctioning concerning equipment to the Entertainment Technical Manager to provide a fast and effective solution.
- Is responsible for keeping the DJ station in order, taking good care of all equipment.
- Collaborates when needed with the Lounge Technician in lounges and swimming pool areas to support entertainment activities.
- Assists the Adult, Child and Teen Animators during the activities organized in the Discotheque to provide the most suitable musical program.
- Plays the most suitable music content during special events, parties and themed nights to entertain all kind of guests.
- Supplies technical mixing lessons to meet Guests requests and maximize revenue opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary School
- Experience in clubs or disco on land or on other ships.
- Basic Sound and Light expertise. Computer literate.
- Enthusiastic, creative and good communicator
- At ease with public speaking
- English knowledge B1
- Italian knowledge is an advantage
- Shipboard experience is a plus
