The Finance Controller will join project teams in South America and/or our office in Spain to ensure timely and sound execution of accounting, financial analysis, forecasting and in- and external reporting of financial results. He/she will also coordinate administrative necessities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Executing statutory & commercial accounting using and maintaining standardized structures & procedures.
  • Analyse financial results and monitor the budgeting & forecast control cycle. Doing so you will be identifying potential financial risk areas and supporting the implementation of risk mitigating activities.
  • Drawing, analysing and monitoring cash flow forecasts, ensuring all commercial & financial reporting on the project phases, bring forward issues and opportunities.
  • Providing advise towards Project Management and other departments ensuring up-to-date knowledge of financial & fiscal laws and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinating and doing the follow up of all project administration, planning, on-site logistics, staff support and general administration.
Job requirements
  • You hold a Bachelor or a Master degree (applied economics, accountancy or finance).
  • You have experience in a financial or audit position and are acquainted with Spanish rules and regulations.
  • You speak Spanish and English fluently, other languages are added values.
  • You are a decision maker and a problem solver (you take initiative in finding solutions).
  • You manage to work independently.
  • You have several years of experience in project work
  • You are willing to work on our projects and head offices all over Spain or South America/worldwide for extended periods of time.
