Purpose As (Associate) Operational Support and Controller Officer (internally referred to as (Associate) Officer/Analyst), you will maintain the model inventory in Finance Directorate (FI) according to the Model Risk Policy, and contribute to the improvement of the analytics and reporting framework of FI in order to support the appropriate reporting tools and reports on FI’s activities. Operating Network You will report to the Head of Division and will work under the supervision of more senior officers and in close collaboration with all members of the team acting as a strengthening of the 1st line of defense function. You will ensure the complete, adequate and timely representation of all financial transactions in the Bank’s front office system as well as the enhancement of management indicators, generation and utilisation technical aspects. You will ensure compliance with Bank’s Model Risk Management standards for governance and documentation, and facilitate FI model and certifications in accordance with Bank MRM Policy. Moreover, you will serve as central point of contact for all FI models and coordinate use of Models vs other tools across the Directorate, involving the assessments of the model owners, the model development, model retirement, and any changes in the model “lifecycle”. Accountabilities  Monitor the daily report and assist the Front Office, as well as participate to the control trading activities to ensure that booking is in line with the trade economics and the Directorate objectives on it  Contribute to business projects in the area of competence of the Middle Office aiming at supporting the front officers  Perform analytical tasks under the supervision of the most senior colleagues and in cooperation with front office portfolio managers, credit analysts and technology staff to contribute to business requirements, analysis of different reporting tools, communicate project plans, contribute to the development, testing, implementation and provide support.  Contribute to the improvement of processes / controls to support New Products, ensuring the control ‘ethos’ of the Middle Office is maintained  Assist in creating standards for managing areas of model risk including but not limited to the development and implementation, governance and certification, and model performance.  Support in developing, maintaining, and implementing the Bank's Model Risk Management Program  Execute key tasks in Middle Office domain – in line with articulated guidelines and procedures for the FI Directorate.  Perform process and data flow analysis and contribute to Business Requirements Documents (BRD)  Contribute to the definition and testing of interfaces to third-party systems using Wall Street, Refinitiv Bloomberg, SQL and other technologies  Test product-level functionality and new releases  Execute key risk indicators to ensure controls are performing adequately and effectively Qualifications  University degree in quantitative areas such as Master in Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Finance  At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in Treasury and Capital Markets products / structured finance, in investment banks, audit companies or business consultant companies  Expertise in financial analysis and business analysis skills  Experience in quantitative modelling and risk management practices for capital markets and/or treasury activities, within front office, middle office or risk management  Good knowledge of trading, asset classes, position and cash reconciliation  Experience in the development and implementation of financial risk models, with a focus on one or several of the following: interest rate, liquidity, market, FX or counterparty risks.  Good knowledge of programming preferably in the following languages C#, VBA, Python  Experience in development and implementation of proper control frameworks to ensure compliance with Model Risk policies and procedures for the first line of defense.  Knowledge of key controls, particularly in relation to Middle Office activities  Knowledge of applications like Wall Street, REFINITIV and BLOOMBERG  Experience in the establishment of tasks, procedures and processes  Excellent knowledge of English, and good command of French (*). Knowledge of another EU language would be an advantage
