Job Description:
- Welfare and responsibilities of animals, especially small farm animals;
- Give assistant and information to the visitors;
- Food preparation, animal feeding and evaluation of animals health;
- Cleaning the enclosures;
- To assist the veterinarian when required;
- Maintenance, repairs and modifications of enclosures;
- Describe different animals species to the public when needed;
- Assist to the maintenance department and the Park in general;
- Implementing and elaboration of environmental enrichment regarding animals you are responsible for.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Secondary School, Technicalities in agriculture and animal production, Animal science or similar;
- Driving licence, CAT B
- Knowledge of Agriculture Machinery (driving licence L/T)
Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in similar conditions.
Job Skills;
- Knowledge in biology and animal behaviour;
- Physically adapt to handle daily tasks;
- Good communications, able to work as a team and being professional;
- Punctual and proactive;
- Basic English.
