We are currently seeking a Wedding Planner/Coordinator to join the team at the award winning Hotel Woodstock in Ennis.

Requirements:

  • Event / Wedding / Hospitality Experience
  • Organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Enthusiastic, with relationship building skills
  • Highly organised and customer focused
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to see projects through from start to finish
  • Be fully aware of Property and Group products
  • Excellent Communication, Verbal and Written Skills
  • Computer literate with Social Media skills
  • Ability to work as part of a Team and to simultaneously work on own initiative

Conferences & Events

  • Dealing with selected incoming inquiries to secure business for meeting rooms & events.
  • To act as the main point of contact for the Booker once the event is confirmed
  • To follow up with the client to ensure their event was successful and to liaise with the sales team on securing repeat/future business

Weddings

  • To be one of the key contact points for new and existing wedding couples and to build and grow relationships with the same
  • To arrange and promote wedding open days and evenings as requested (invite suppliers, create awareness, market and promote event
  • To meet with new potential couples as requested and to follow up and communicate going forward
  • To build relationships with key wedding suppliers
  • To feedback with own ideas and suggestions for improving the operational and marketing of the Waterfront Hotel weddings, conferences & events.

Wedding Day Coordination

  • Welcome couples and vendors onsite, and run through final schedule
  • Ensure everything runs smoothly, and that the couple and bridal parties are looked after
  • Co-ordinate the bridal party to the ceremony
  • Ensure key areas are set up and everything is in place as per couples requests
  • Share up to date function sheets with team leaders
  • Ensure end to end customer satisfaction from initial enquiry to checkout.
