Weaving mill technician (2 shifts)

In Ghent we specialize in the production of technical textiles, including those for the automotive industry.
Function
As a weaving mill technician you are responsible for carrying out maintenance work and repairing breaks on looms.
Duties:
- Repairing the machine breaks of the looms.
- Carrying out planned maintenance works in the weaving mill.
- Entering stop and start codes correctly
- Carrying out all arrangements as described in the loom manuals.
- Maintaining all looms so that they comply with the Milliken maintenance system.
Profile
- You have a technical degree, preferably in mechanics, mechanical training (stechnieken), ...
- Experience is not required, we provide a training program where you gradually master the job as a technician.
- You are an inquisitive person with a hands-on mentality and strong technical insight.
- You speak fluent English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are willing to do shift work (2-shifts).
- You are willing to be flexible in your job.
- You are safety and quality conscious.
