XL Diner is looking for new stars in our team! We are working with local fish, shellfish, and meat of top quality – and clipfish (dried, salted cod) is our speciality. About XL Diner

XL Diner is located in the centre of Ålesund, overlooking the canal Ålesundet, Molja and the ocean. Ever since the company was established in 1999, we have purposefully developed what is today recognized as one of Europe's best bacalao restaurants. XL Diner is and will always stay a restaurant based on clipfish (salted and dried cod), but also offers tasty dishes not coming from the sea. The menu is inspired by both Southern Europe and South America, but the classic and beloved bacalao dishes from the North-western part of Norway are close to our heart. First-class, line caught cod from Lofoten is the main ingredient at XL Diner. It is purchased from a local company and processed in the "old fashioned way", which makes us confident in the quality and taste of the fish. We are constantly working to develop both the menus as well as the venue, and greatly appreciate the commitment and professional curiosity from the employees.
