We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (f/m/d) with specialization around DevOps and Test Automation. This role requires coding, design and systematical skills and will report directly to the Director of Technical Architecture of Covento and work closely with the Product Management Team, third-party development team, Buyer Engagement, & Seller Development to ensure quality software product delivery and best in class customer experience.



Responsibilities

As Software Engineer Dev Ops & Testing (f/m/d), your primary areas of responsibility are:

  • Create and handle test automation suit and DevOps CI/CD pipeline for distributed software applications covering all stages - design, build, testing and release.
  • Follow agile process, working in sprints together with rest of the team to deliver on time with technical quality
  • Write and maintain Unit, System integration and Regression Tests to ensure the quality of software components
  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Write automation scrips for test data generation and monitoring overall health of software systems
  • Work closely with development team, architecture team for translating product requirements into actionable automated testing systems to validate functional and technical specifications
  • Proficient in test plan creation, API Testing, Performance /Stress Testing and interpretation of test result.

 

Qualifications

The right candidate (f/m/d) has at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or/in addition 3+ years of hands-on experience on Software Automation Testing and setting up CI/CD pipelines 

  • Experience in developing automated deployment using Azure DevOps or Jenkins, GIT and at least one of the following: Shell scripting, Python, PHP, TypeScript
  • Good understanding of common cloud providers - AWS, Azure and GCP (at least one)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Magento, Salesforce, Mirakl, Google Analytics, and Coveo
  • Ability to create, update and complete automated test cases using Postman, Selenium or similar 
  • Good Understanding of microservices, AMQP, MySQL, REST APIs, HTTP, SaaS, PaaS  
  • Experience with being DevOps admin and configuring Azure DevOps is plus 
  • Experience in creating robust, scalable monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK or similar tools

  • Great at working cross-functional with different stakeholders at different organizational levels with the ability work with limited to no supervision
  • Solid experience for quality software systems and processes, with the balance of leveraging what exists and breaking and building new when it makes the most sense
  • Values productivity and efficiency over activity. Willing to prepare to do good work and create something new to effectively problem solve
  • Has a good bias for action and ability to continually optimize in real time as software system evolves
  • Values clarity and collaborations with peers and employees, ensuring success for the entire organization, not just for the individual or department
  • Data-driven mindset. Always look for data upfront supporting the decisions and the design as well as design for that all solutions, no matter small or large, can be monitored after implementation.
  • Good communication skills - Fluency in English. A secondary fluency in Danish, Spanish, German, French, or Mandarin is beneficial and not afraid of taking and communicating difficult decision /setbacks to higher management to ensure software quality

Additional information

The position can be carried out from Copenhagen or Aarhus, Hamburg, Chennai, Budapest or Madrid.

You can expect up to 25% travel activity, if you are not located in Denmark.
