UX DESIGNER / FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Location: Tallinn

Vaimo is looking for an experienced UX Designer / Front end developer to join our marketing team in Tallinn. You will be working with Vaimo marketing, sales and UX teams to help maintain Vaimo’s brand, website, sales and marketing materials. You will also be involved in client projects where needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain Vaimo’s brand
• Create any graphical or digital design needed for Vaimo marketing and sales
• Design new Vaimo’s web site pages
• Be involved with client projects- define and design great eCommerce user experiences
• Deliver wireframes and graphic design for one or more ongoing projects
• You are expected to on your own initiative read books, periodicals and technical reports to keep your competence at a high level and learn ways to keep up with our industry development
• Regularly attend internal training courses to maintain required skill set

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

We hope that you:

• Are a creative and driven digital and graphical designer with a couple of years of experience in designing for web and commercial sites
• Have excellent conceptual skills in design and are familiar with presenting ideas and results in a logical and clear way
• Have the ability to quickly understand the clients needs when it comes to the content and structure as well as the look & feel of the project
• Have experience of working in a team of developers and project managers
• Have competence in XHTML, CSS, Javascript and are also stoked in one or more other areas in modern web development, such as HTML5, MVC with PHP, SEO, JSON or Social / Local / Mobile
• Experience working with Magento eCommerce platform frontend is a bonus
• Have a very good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Have experience in print design
• Are fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Have great communication skills
