The Company - We are not your typical call centre

IDG Direct is a dynamic and fast growing telemarketing, and research Company providing demand generation services to the IT industry. The operation currently employs 320 multilingual agents, and is forecast to continue to grow. Our telemarketing agents make 5.2 million telemarketing and research calls to over 120 countries. Our language profile continues to increase, we are currently offering over 30 languages. The operation is international, covering several time zones.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Representing and branding IDG services by making professional outgoing calls to prospective clients.
  • Involved in research and building customer’s interests in the services, and products available.
  • Engaging the client on calls to share information and conducting surveys will also be a key part of your role.
  • Gathering and recording accurate client details, and maintaining/updating/completing databases as new information is gathered.
  • Responsible for completing thorough updates and hand-overs with team members/team leaders and contributing to projects, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

  • A business level of verbal and written Thai
  • Have a strong Leaving Certificate, or equivalent
  • Ability to work night/early morning shift is a MUST
  • Having a Third Level Qualification would be highly desirable
  • Evidence of success with customers in telemarketing and/or in sales
  • Previous call centre experience, particularly with cold calling outbound calls would be an advantage
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Office package i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Have excellent phone etiquette with clear, and confident communication skills
  • Be a team player, who can work in a heavily target driven environment with strict targets and deadlines
  • Have a high level of initiative, and multi-tasking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written English
