Test Engineer Digital Video Equipment
QSpin is an engineering- and consulting company, specialised in embedded systems
development and process improvement for IT- or development organisations
We operate from Louvain-La-Neuve and Gent throughout the whole of the Benelux with
customers who are players at the following domains: space & avionics, medical
equipment & instruments, automotive, technical SW engineering, consumer products,
telecommunications and electronics.
Your Mission
- writing test plans based on requirements documents and input from developers,
- designing and building of network setups to test new features in an environment as close as possible to customer scenarios,
- execution of the test plans, logging the results and tracking of bugs,
- writing software to automatically execute test plans,
- enhance the test-automation framework written in Python,
- writing software to control peripherals, to manipulate the devices under test, to analyze the results and to generate reports.
Competencies
- you have a Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Informatics,
- good knowledge of Python
- familiar with XML, able to read UML
- knowledge of network equipment and protocols
- fluent in English
