We are looking for Test Engineers with experience in the Aerospace & Defence sector. 

Candidates will be involved in systematic testing activities at various stages of the development and qualification lifecycle. Each role focuses on a specific testing domain, supporting the integrity, safety, and compliance of high-reliability aerospace systems. Assignment to a specific role will depend on background, experience, and project needs.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Define and execute test plans and procedures in line with applicable standards (civil and/or military)
  • Support integration and qualification of avionics, onboard software, or aircraft systems
  • Participate in laboratory, ground, or flight testing campaigns
  • Contribute to test automation, simulation, or real-time monitoring environments
  • Analyze results, report anomalies, and support root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including systems engineering, certification, and operations
  • Ensure documentation, traceability, and compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Software testing and verification (e.g. DO-178C, HIL, automated test frameworks)
    • Flight test operations (planning, instrumentation, telemetry, safety protocols)
    • Maintenance and ground test support (on-aircraft testing, diagnostics, BITE, test equipment)
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defence standards (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD, ARP4754A)
  • Knowledge of relevant tools depending on domain (e.g. Python, LabVIEW, Simulink, Vector tools, test benches, telemetry systems)
  • Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in lab, hangar, or field environments, with occasional travel as required

  • Salary range: €54,000 - €66,000 per year (based on a 35-hour workweek, depending on experience)
