Job offer description

As a test and logistics technician you will be responsible for the testing and characterization of our prototype and small batch engineering samples, before the imagers are being sent out to the partners. Your main assignment will be to electrically and optically test the imagers in a test setup. The type of optical tests that need to be performed has been developed, but is not ‘push-the-button’ and can vary depending on the type of sensor and sensor geometry. You will work with senior design and software engineers to define and refine the test protocols and required hardware configuration and then you will be responsible to execute the measurements and generate reliable test data, to be sent to partners. This requires flexibility in working with different types of electronics boards and optical test setups, while being very accurate and meticulously following the required steps for a certain test sequence. The aggregated test data will be used to generate internal reporting. Tested sensors will be properly handled, packaged and sent out to partners. Your data will support both the technology and design engineers. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include: Work with a senior scientist or engineer to fix the detailed characterization and test procedure for prototype image sensors. Characterize batches of such sensors, according to above procedure. Monitor incoming list of requests, follow up deadlines for shipments. Correctly package and ship to partners, as per incoming list. Aggregate test data into statistics for analysis by senior engineers. Work with a senior scientist or engineer to adapt optical test stands when needed. Work independently on pre-validated test sequences and manage time effectively according to aggressive partner delivery requirements. Quickly adapt to new project requirements. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of engineers. You manage the stock of components, required for shipments and order replacements when needed
