We are looking for technicians with vision for the winter season. Are you structured and do you like solving difficult problems? Then our team is the right place for you. Here you can find out what you can expect as an employee of the OBERSTDORF - KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN cable cars.

 

As a cable car employee, you primarily handle the daily operation, keep the station tidy and assist guests getting on and off. What many people don't know: Thanks to your basic technical understanding, you also take care of repairs in case of technical problems. In addition, you support the machinists in their daily tasks or the regular inspections - because we apply the 4-eyes principle. Is everything in perfect condition? As soon as irregularities occur on the machines, ropeways, ropes or supports, solution-oriented thinking is required. Nevertheless, close coordination within the team is essential, as there are always tasks that require more than two hands. You don't need any experience in this field to join us as an employee on the ropeways. As long as you don't suffer from vertigo and can ski, we are also happy to welcome career changers, newcomers and high school graduates.

Job requirements

 Good German language skills are required

  • Fun in your job and fun in dealing with guests
  • Ability to work in a team, resilience & absolute reliability
  • An awareness of service
  • Experience in a mountain railway company would be helpful, but not a prerequisite
  • A strong technical understanding, solution-oriented thinking & ability to work independently
  •    
  • You love winter sports, can ski & are free from vertigo

 

Nice to have

    Good German language skills are required
