As our new Tech Lead, you will be working in a product team of highly skilled and dedicated people to deliver solutions and services to our enterprise customers. In collaboration with the rest of the engineering team, you will set the direction for our architecture and the way we build, run and deploy our services and APIs.

 

You will be responsible for the execution and overall quality of the technical deliveries of a team. In close collaboration with the product manager and the rest of the team, you will find the right technical approach to deliver the solutions needed to achieve the team objectives and our goals as a company.

 

Software engineers in the team will report to you and you will coach and help them improve in their roles.

 

In this role, you will be 

  • Closely collaborating with the Product Manager and Designers in your team
  • Providing technical leadership in your team.
  • Designing and planning architecture to build stable and scalable software.
  • Developing high-level system design and low-level technical design.
  • Contributing to product discovery in the team to identify feasible, high-impact solutions to drive the team objectives.
  • Helping prioritize technical enablements to achieve business goals and evaluate what can be executed with the available resources.
  • Developing application code for our platform and products.
  • Working with Infrastructure team members to ensure continued stability and performance.
  • Coaching the developers in your team.
  • Developing and implementing processes and practices for the engineering team.
  • Exploring and evaluating new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward.
  • Developing and maintaining tools and processes to deploy our solutions.
  • Ensuring documentation of code, processes, and practices you are responsible for.

 

Requirements

  • Javascript experience, 4+ years
  • Deep understanding of the full stack of technologies used in a web application.
  • Good understanding of DevOps, QA, and test automation.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of Product Development Practices (how to work with PMs and Designers), User and Customer focus
  • Empirical Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and modern software development practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You

    • Take ownership of your work and when you provide input and feedback; it's constructive, positive, and aimed at productively resolving challenges.

It is an advantage if you have 

  • Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic, GitLab, and a range of AWS services
