TECHNICAL BUYER – PURCHASING DEPARTMENT for a metalworking manufacturing company

A mechanical engineering company that has been manufacturing lines of tissue paper converting machinery for both professional and consumer use for many years, assembled to meet customer needs. Customers can test and design their own customized embossing using highly advanced technologies. Gambini also provides maintenance, assistance, and monitoring services for its customers using cutting-edge software.

Position Activities: Manage and optimize the procurement process of technical components and industrial materials, negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for money, analyze the market and identify new sourcing opportunities, collaborate with the R&D team to evaluate new materials and technologies, manage and improve relationships with strategic suppliers, coordinate with production to ensure the availability of necessary materials, implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.

Required: Degree in Management Engineering

Both junior and senior candidates with previous experience in the role or sector will be considered.

 

Job requirements

Experience with procurement management software and MRP systems
English language proficiency at B1 level required
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Nice to have

Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes of mechanical components
