Rana Adult Education Center is located on Strandgata in the center of Mo i Rana, within walking distance of downtown and public transportation. The center consists of an administration team, including a full-time section leader and a part-time administrative staff member (50%), as well as nine teaching positions across departments for individually adapted education, Norwegian language courses, and primary education. We work in a dynamic yet friendly environment, enriched by a diverse student body representing many different cultures.

We have an available 50-70% temporary teaching position for the remainder of the school year, with the possibility of extension.

Job requirements

• General teacher education or subject teacher education with Norwegian and mathematics
• Norwegian as a second language or equivalent qualification
• Teaching competence in other subjects may also be considered if no qualified applicants are available
• Valid police certificate of conduct in accordance with the Education Act § 17-11
