SUSHI CHEF

The food prepared in your kitchen is thoughtfully prepared with your guests in mind. Being a sushi chef, every day you handle the entire process of making and serving sushi. You take pride in creating the tastiest sushi and sashimi from fresh fish. From filleting to cutting the various garnishes. As a sushi chef you will have a variety of responsibilities at Van der Valk Nuland's Hertogenbosch! Your attention to detail guarantees that your sushi is perfect before presentation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

In the role of Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for the sushi department at Van der Valk Nuland-'s-Hertogenbosch. To include:

• Preparing a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes;
• Being familiar with different types of fish and preparing/fileting these;
• You converse with guests at your sushi station and explain the menu;
• You create new dishes; 
• You prepare dishes according to recipes or at the instructions of the Sous- & Chef ; 
• Of course we work according to the HACCP and Health & Safety legislation;
• You are responsible for cleaning the work place.

• Knowledge of preparing Sushi is a plus;
• You have affinity with Asian cooking;

• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant environment;

• You are enthusiastic and hospitable;
