Would you like to kickstart your career in an international bank? Are you a self-driven, structured and curious professional interested in the practice of architecture in financial services and technology? Then you might be our new student in Nordea Technology.

 

We are now looking for a part-time student to support Group Architecture, a key function that provides a holistic architectural view and structured understanding of the bank and its surrounding environment to enable Nordea to fulfil its priorities.

As a student supporting Group Architecture, you will have the opportunity to accelerate your knowledge about the practice of architecture in banking and gain valuable skills to pursue a career in Nordea.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Work with our team(s) to deliver strategy and delivery-oriented architecture to guide and support change initiatives
  • Participate in architecture workshops and support documentation of architectural artefacts and solution designs
  • Contribute to our understanding of the application portfolio through hands-on experience with architecture modelling and architecture tooling
  • Support our architecture practice and governance processes through use of workplace tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
  • Represent the unit with a service-minded and professional attitude to maintain a strong reputation among external and internal partners.

 

This is a part-time position, with an expected time commitment of 16 hours per week. For the right candidate, this is a great opportunity where you will get to know Nordea as an employer and get a chance to build a network in the largest bank in northern Europe.

 

The role is based in Helsinki.

Your experience and background:

 

  • Currently a student with at least two years of studies completed in a relevant university program (business administration, engineering or computer science) and will remain a student for at least the next 12 months
  • Prior work experience in these areas is desirable
  • To succeed in this role you must have an analytical mind-set and contribute with high-quality documentation, diagrams and presentations. You must have a passion for problem solving, business strategy and technology enablement.
