Crisplant a/s is looking for a competent engineer or design engineer with strong mechanical insight for international projects in our Airport project department. We focus on your experience with project management rather than the industry you work in.
The Job
You will have a versatile job in an international environment, where you participate all the way in the projects, right from the design phase to commissioning of systems at the customer site. You assignments will include:
- Implementation of defined processes for structural steelwork in the projects
- Coordination of steelwork issues with system layout, mechanical and electrical services
- Single point of contact for all structural steelwork issues for the client, sub-contractors and project team
- Selection and monitoring (progress, quality, costs) of sub-contractors (engineering offices and suppliers)
- Planning and scheduling of structural steelwork within overall project schedule
- Budget control
- Claim mangement in cooperation with the Senior Project Manager
- Project related engineering based on Crisplant standard solutions
- On site support and acceptance of steel structures
- Support to the procurement department with supplier evaluations
Some travel activity must be expected.
Qualifications
You have a degree in structural or civil engineering and a minimum of two years of practical experience with calculation, design and implementation of steel structures. You have a strong mechanical insight and understanding, as well as a more than basic understanding of relevant calculation and drawing programs – particularly AutoCAD 3D experience is an advantage.
Your project management skills allow you to independently manage the execution of the steelwork project within our overall project program. You are acquainted with the legal and commercial part of contracts and have experience with negotiations.
As a person you are dedicated and open-minded. You thrive with many different tasks at the same time, feel ownership and manage to keep focus on details and results. You have good communication skills and impact.
You communicate effortlessly in English, a second foreign language is an asset.
