Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients from aerospace sector based in Belgium, we are looking for Stress Engineer with experience in Patran and/or Nastran. The main responsibilities for this position are: Coordinating static structural analysis Generating the fatigue spectrum of aeronautical structures Sizing in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance of aeronautical structures Managing the extraction of all necessary data from Finite Element models Defining test needs and analyzing the test results Presenting internal reviews with the team members.
The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:
- You have experience in stress/ fatigue and Damage Tolerance in the aeronautical sector
- Excellent knowledge of Patran and/or Nastran
- Engineering Degree in Mechanics or Aeronautical engineering
- You have 2-8 years’ experience in an applicable field
- You are a good listener and communicator
- Problem solving abilities and pro-activity
- Fluent English and French
