Restaurang Langhuset is about to open its doors built in a new "Stavkirke" overlooking the entire municipality of Odda. The area is called “Camp Lothepus”, is a Viking inspired place that offers 10 cozy cabins and up to 80 pitches for caravans in addition to our restaurant.
The restaurant is expected to seat up to 220 guests inside and an additional 100 outside. It is going to be something extra, that is for sure. In addition to the normal seating area, we have a stage located in the middle of the place that is constructed in a way that allows us to hoist it up and down. You have to see it to believe it!
We are going to be a unique spot in Norway. We expect to attract locals, tourists and the curious ones.
We want to deliver a large variety of products such as weddings, conferences, concerts, bus-tourists coming from our Scandinavian countries for lunch/dinner, theme- and Viking events. Just to name a few.
We, the company owners, Renate Røsten and Magne Svan have a big vision for this project of ours. We are excited to take Odda to its next level with this unique concept!

- Minimum of 5 years of experience from working in a kitchen.
- Managment experience
- Ensuring standard portions and quality of each and every dish
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Monitoring food production and cost efficiency
- A passion for food combined with beverages
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Social skills where you put your focus towards the guest – we are there for them!
- Driven, attention to details and curiosity
