Your position

The Software Test Engineer will participate in projects related to our High Level Control Software solutions in the domain of Baggage Handling. You work independently and take full responsibility for the testing part:

  • You are responsible for developing test plans and test designs based on the requirements by using test specification techniques.
  • You devise and script test cases, both manual and automated.
  • You analyze and register the findings, monitor the correct follow-up and verify findings that have been solved.
  • Besides the operational tasks, you are involved in defining the overall test approach, you communicate and report on the progress and provide an independent and substantiated release advice.

Your department

The Software House Veghel develops the software for our transportation systems. This involves software related to business logic, controlling the logistic transportation, communication with external systems, reporting, and data analysis simulation. 

Your profile

The ideal candidate has;

  • A technical Masters or Bachelors degree (e.g. Electronics Computer Science)
  • A minimum of two years of experience in software testing and hands-on experience with various test specification techniques.
  • Certified in TMAP and/or ISTQB.
  • Experience in functional as well non-functional testing and test automation.
  • Experience in industrial environments and baggage handling is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and good command of the English language.
  • Furthermore you are a result oriented team player with a pragmatic and hands-on attitude.
