Job offer description

You are part of a team responsible for the further development of the my MCS WebPortal software. Together with our senior developers, you will translate functional requirements into a technical design and implement this design according to best practices. You will support the migration of the functionality present in the software to the Ext JS platform, which forms the backbone of our web application strategy. You are the key person who understands a customer’s integration needs, analyses them and develops the appropriate technical solutions.

Profile:

  • Possess creativity and ingenuity in technical design
  • Have proven experience in the development of application integration (knowledge of SAP Netweaver, Microsoft Biztalk or similar middleware architectures is a plus)
  • Have solid knowledge of PHP, Javascript, XML/SOAP, REST/JSON (knowledge of Javascript frameworks such as Ext JS is a plus)
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Be very eager to learn
  • Maintain a dual focus on working as part of a team and ensuring satisfied customers
  • Be able to express his or her ideas comprehensively through charts, graphs, models and written documents (analysis documents, as-built documentation)
  • Be able to meet project planning and deadlines
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a perfect command of English (written and verbal). Additional languages are a plus
  • Preferably have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Be mobile and willing to take short business trips within Belgium and Europe (on-site deployments)
  • Hold a driving licence
