DESY

DESY is one of the world’s leading research centres for photon science,

particle and astroparticle physics as well as accelerator physics.

The information management group IPP operates central information

system to support the processes in the construction and operational plans,

and in campus management, including a Product Lifecycle Management

(PLM) system and a facility management system. For the expansion of

system integration, we are looking for a software engineer (f/m) for the

development of user interfaces and web services.

The position

Design and development of web-based user interfaces for information systems, of web services for system integration and administrative tools

Design and development of mobile web clients for selected tasks

System testing and participation in the operation and technical support

Requirements

University degree in computer science

Very good knowledge and experience in development with Java JEE,latest web technologies and relational databases, as well as UML

modeling

Communication, initiative and motivation to work in an international research environment

Good communication skills in English language
