Required profile: Software Engineer – Algorithms development and application No of available posts: 10 Place of work: Milan Deadline for applications: 20 April 2015 Description of the task: This position is for an engineer looking to build, deliver, and impress. You will be part of a small and dynamic team charged with creating, building and improving mobile optimized experiences. Your output is directly related to the user experience, thus you will allow analysis, understanding and interpretation of everyone’s daily tasks as well as boosting rehabilitation efficiency in clinical environment. You are intrigued by big data and complexity related to the human body. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience will help you to design and apply state of the art algorithms that will help interpretation of multisensor data to deliver a new experience to the customers. You want to work on projects that require creative thinking and deep understanding of the problem space. You're a thought leader, but you don't just know how to solve the problem, you prove it by building the solution. Responsibilities: • Be part of a team for acquisition, analysis and presentation of biometrics-related data • Analyze data to meet customers’ needs • Help in algorithm evaluation and related decision making • Design, develop, and test state of the art algorithms related to all kind of biometric data (electrophysiology, biomechanics, etc) • Develop tools and metrics for algorithm effectiveness and performance evaluation JV’s Contract: Type of contract: Employment Renewable: yes Hour/week.: 40h/week Salary (currency): in EURO currency – it depends on the experience Candidate’s requirements: Educational level: Graduate Professional experience: Industry or academic experience in the field of minimum 3 years desired Language Skills: Minimum requirement is English fluently spoken (C level).
