Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

Your area of responsibility includes the development of sophisticated system controls and regulations in the field of energy supply, including:

• Analysis of national and international „grid codes“ and project- specific requirements for the derivation of control requirements;

• Analysis and evaluation of electrical grid data and grid simulations;

• Conceptual design and development of higher-level wind farm control systems on PLC basis;

• Conceptual design and development of project-specific wind farm interfaces on PLC basis;

• Commissioning of wind farm control systems at home and abroad;

• Functional and technical development documentation.

Your Skills:

• Master or Bachelor degree in the field of electrical, energy, automation or communications engineering;

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role;

• Knowledge in the field of measurement and control technology;

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office,

• Experience in languages: IEC61131 (CoDeSys 2 und 3), Shell-Scripting (Linux);

• Experience in Protocols: ModbusTCP/RTU, IEC 60870-5- PLC’s: WAGO, Bachmann, Eaton, Beckhoff

• Fluent in English;

• Good overall understanding of electrical engineering;

• Flexible way of thinking and good comprehension skills;

• Ability to work under pressure.
