Design, Implement and deliver features for market leading/proven IP/Mobile Networking range of products

IP/Optical Network (ION) business group presents Nokia right on top for global leadership in IP and Optical networking providing a comprehensive end-to-end IP Networking portfolio. Powered by breakthrough silicon and software innovations, our products and solutions support an insight-driven, automated model for high-performance networking. They help you embrace cloud, 5G, and Internet of Things (IoT) opportunities by enabling you to build more scalable, secure, and adaptive networks.
What you will learn and contribute to
- Design and implement features that will grow and consolidate the commercial and technical success of the 7x50 products and other IP/Mobile Networking products from ION.
- Work closely with the Product Management team on the definition of the features.
- Develop real time embedded software for the IP and mobile world in a complex environment with real time OS and network protocols based on specifications from IETF (RFCs) and ITU (to name a few).
- Collaborate with the testing team to deliver and maintain high quality software.
- Strive to minimize the time required for qualification by the testing team through excellent software architecture and implementation and rigorous module testing.
- Add comprehensive debugging and reporting facilities that enable rapid problem detection and isolation in different range of products installed worldwide and often difficult to access physically.
- Contribute to the future of the product range with creative thinking.
- Passion for design and implementation of software.
- Master degree (or final year) with a focus on software (Civil Engineer Computer Science, Master in Computer Science, Industrial Engineer ICT or equivalent).
- Knowledge of C / C ++
- Strong interest in computer networks and real time software development.
- Knowledge of IP/Mobile networks is a plus.
- Eager to learn. Likes to follow the evolution in the world of the internet.
- Innovative and creative.
- Self-Driven
- Practical knowledge of the English.
