We are strengthening the Performance & Stability team within R&D Quality Engineering with a skilled Software Developer. The job requires a highly organized person with excellent communication skills and experience of working with multiple stakeholders spanning different projects and activities. You probably have a broad experience from test automation, development and continuous integration. You should have a sincere interest in streamlining and automating testing as well as a passion to understand how software and hardware work together.
The Performance & Stability Team
The Performance & Stability (P&S) Team is a unit focusing on all aspects of performance and scalability for QlikView and Qlik Sense – the Business discovery solutions. P&S responsibilities cover developing and enabling R&D, customers and partners with tools and methodologies for validating performance and scalability. The role as Software Developer within P&S is instrumental for maintaining and advancing Qlik performance and scalability to continue to stay ahead of competition.
The role
As a Software Developer in the P&S Team you will focus on the continued development of the R&D automated test framework by streamlining automation of performance and stability testing. Key responsibilities and tasks within this role will cover developing tools (.Net, JavaScript) as well as integration/automation of test script executions and performance analytics.
You
- As a developer you must have the following core skills
- Experience from script development (e.g. python, sh)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in automation and testing
- Non-functional (performance) validation
- Analytical with a high sense of quality
It’s a big plus if you also have experience of
- Continuous integration (Jenkins primarily)
- C#/.Net programming
- Knowledge and experience of web technologies, REST and Javascript
- Experience of databases (Mongo DB primarily)
You have a genuine interest of technology and enjoy working broad with different technologies. You are structured and organized with strong communication skills and enjoy working within a team towards common goals in a fast paced environment run on agile principles. You also have a high level of service mindedness and take pride in helping others to succeed.
