Tuxera is looking for an exceptional software engineer who has the passion for solving challenging tasks in cutting-edge networking technologies. The candidate will participate in the design and implementation of robust, high-performance, top brand products, has a genuine enthusiasm for results, and can achieve them both independently and as a team member. Responsibilities: - Work on the design, implementation and support of networking protocols and components - Analyze performance bottlenecks, find and implement improvements - Debug interoperability and reliability issues, find and implement solutions Required Experience: - Expert in C - Expert in Linux development - Experience in implementing binary network protocols - Understanding network configuration in Linux and Windows - Ability to working in a dynamic, multi-cultural development environment Preferred Experience: - SMB, NFS, DLNA, RTP, RTSP, MPEG-DASH, HLS, or other file streaming and sharing protocols - Familiar with security and encryption solutions like OpenSSL, Heimdal, krb5 - Familiar with Linux kernel development, networking layers - Shell scripting - Writing portable software, knowledge of several operating systems - Setting up cloud storage infrastructure with OpenStack Swift - BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent skills Benefits: - Dynamic work environment, with flexible working hours. - Laptop, smartphone, health insurance, lunch coupons, and more.
