Danfoss Drives is looking for a Software Developer to join our global team based in Denmark, Finland, China, USA and India. The location of the position will be Gråsten, Denmark. In this role you will work with SW development and maintenance of our global end-of-line test and configuration system, which is based upon Azure technologies such as IoT hub, functions, Cosmos DB, web apps and TestStand clients.

Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position include: 

  • Manage full life cycle of Azure cloud applications
  • Manage full life cycle of infrastructure code (SaaS, PaaS)

Background & Skills

You probably have a SW background, maybe with some interest in HW. Your educational background could be Software engineer (B.SC+) or another suitable degree in computer science. Moreover, you have extensive knowledge and understanding of best practice in software development. You are a proficient developer of Web APIs in AZURE and/or other Cloud service providers. Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong proficiency in .NET and .NET Core
  • Experience in SOLID principles
  • Experience with Azure DevOps yaml pipelines
  • Experience with Azure Powershell or Az CLI
  • Experience with Azure web apps and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and industry 4.0 protocols e.g. OPC-UA
  • Experience with data modeling and database design
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Effortless communication in English - both verbally and written

You are an expert listener who pushes your peers by asking the right questions that leads to the best possible solutions in every project. You work with a sense of urgency and are driven by delivering strong results, sometimes on short deadlines.
