Software and Algorithm Development Engineer

Your responsibilities:

• Developing real time software for electronic systems
• Designing, implementing, porting and optimizing algorithms to embedded platforms
• Analyzing requirements and participating in software architecture and detailed design
• Coding and testing software components
• Initiating and participating in code reviews
• Applying proper configuration management process
• Participating in quality audits
• Supporting software process improvements
• Collaborating closely with software coordinators, hardware engineers and representatives of other departments

Your profile:

• An academic degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Working experience with embedded C programming, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and UML
• Good knowledge of:
  • Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
  • Requirement management tools
  • Automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
  • IBM Rhapsody
• Understanding of basic algorithmic principles
• The ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Communication and team working skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
