Job description As a site manager, you will organise construction sites from start to completion with the utmost care for safety and quality. In doing so, you work closely with project leaders, foremen, workers and subcontractors. Presence on our sites is necessary to feel and help shape our daily operations.

  • You identify the tasks to be performed, equipment and other requirements of the client based on the specifications.
  • You organise the site with due regard for the safety of all those involved; you monitor and enforce safety procedures; you hold workers accountable for this.
  • You manage the work force; you supervise and guide subcontractors and your own employees; you give clear and simple instructions.
  • You ensure the necessary work preparation and instructions at site level.
  • You explain the technical execution of the work to be carried out.
  • You order the necessary equipment to guarantee the continuity of the work.
  • You set out the necessary dimensions and levels, whether or not in consultation with the topography department for fast and faultless execution.
  • You inspect the progress of the works, taking into account the prepared specifications and planning.
  • You check the quality of the work delivered.
  • You bring the necessary administration into order on a daily basis.
  • You take the yield into account and intervene when necessary.
  • You help look for optimisations and adopt a commercial attitude.
  • You lead meetings to discuss works on site.
  • You are always looking for possible improvements in processes, systems and working methods in order to improve the return.
  • You report to the project leader.
Job requirements

Profile

<li>You are preferably a graduate in construction organisation, a professional bachelor or industrial engineer in construction engineering and/or you already have work experience.</li> 
<li>You have practical technical and spatial insight.</li> 
<li>You use your leadership qualities on a daily basis; you know how to keep up the team spirit.</li> 
<li>You have the necessary sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.</li> 
<li>You have an eye for detail and can handle multiple tasks flexibly.</li> 
<li>Your work is structured and precise.</li> 
<li>You have administrative skills.</li> 
<li>You are flexible in terms of hours and distances.</li> 
<li>French is a plus.</li> 
<li>You are motivated and eager to learn.</li> </ul>
