Your role
- You are responsible for management, development and planning of construction sites.
- You direct all aspects of the day-to-day execution of the project, and you monitor and coordinate work performed by superintendents and skilled workers.
- You plan the resources.
- You implement and oversee the ISO & VCA norms.
- You select, audit and supervise subcontractors.
- You maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives.
- You attend and lead site meetings.
- You report directly to the Construction Manager or Project Director on the progress and output of your own teams and suppliers.
Your competencies
- You demonstrate ability to work effectively and efficiently in constantly changing business environment, you know how to deal with failures and look critically at your own work.
- You anticipate standard situations, take initiative and make suggestions, you challenge prevailing assumptions.
- You plan, organize and prioritize your own work; you seek confirmation of priorities when confronted with unusual situations, and your report on the state of affairs.
- You understand your role in the team and in the broader departmental organization; you document best practices and coach one or more specialists.
Your profile
- You have a civil engineering master degree in construction..
- You have at least 6 to 8 years of experience within the construction business
- You are fluent in English, Dutch and French. Any additional language is an asset.
