Signaling Project Engineer

Mission

Technical coordination of contracts for the construction of railway signaling systems.

Responsibilities

Within the Signaling Project Engineering Plants unit, the candidate will be involved in the following activities:

Technical coordination in the design and construction phase of railway signaling systems for all technologies (signaling in the first place, but also all the others included in the contractual perimeter of activity).

Management of the interface towards the external and internal customers (including the project manager of the order and the verification and validation group).

 Collaboration with all structures aimed at maintaining contractual deadlines in compliance with quality levels.

technical support to the operating structures for the construction and activation of the plants;

support for the preparation of estimates to support the offering / Bid Management functions

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

The candidate sought has a previous experience of at least 5 years in the role or in the design / verification / validation of railway signaling systems, preferably in the ACEI, ACC, CTC and / or ERTMS world.

A master's degree or a short degree in technology (electronics / electrotechnics / electrical / telecommunications or equivalent) or civil with specialization in transport is required

 The following are to be considered relevant:

Knowledge of how to develop a project in the railway sector.

Competence on railway signaling.

Basic competence in cabin and / or apron railway systems.

Basic skills in SCMT.

Possible experience on plant design and configuration tools in the ACEI, ACC, CTC or RBC field.

Previous experience on testing commissioning of systems / plants listed above in Italy and / or abroad.
