Join us and become Senior Technical Project Lead in the Risk & Technology Assessment team in Wind Turbines Technical Management which is responsible for evaluating technical risks, benefits and improvement potential of new wind turbine concepts. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Senior Technical Project Lead, you will lead projects focusing on the technical qualification of new wind turbines, from evaluation of conceptual design to follow up on product development and test and verification. Usually, our project leads handle one qualification project each, and your project team consists of specialists from several parts of the organisation. Furthermore, your key areas of responsibility will be to: •define project scope together with colleagues and manage project time and cost •manage project communication and stakeholder management •interface with suppliers •facilitate HAZID and FMEA workshops •write and quality assure parts of the technical risk assessment reports. Your profile You hold a master's degree in engineering or similar and have experience with technical risk assessment. Furthermore, your skills and knowledge lie within a combination of technology qualification, technical risk analysis, wind turbine technology and project management. Knowledge of, or certification in PMI or similar, is a benefit although not a prerequisite. In the projects, you cooperate with colleagues with varying backgrounds and across different organisational levels. Thus, excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, combined with strong interpersonal skills are key to succeeding in this position.
