Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist with a strong operational focus who can drive continuous improvement activities to ensure that our Supply Chain processes stay efficient. You will be part of a high performing and experienced planner & OFR team with strong focus on the end customer ensuring high delivery performance to our global markets.  You will be a key driver in the forecast planning process. You will develop and optimize processes and tools used in the local Supply Chain in alignment with our global Supply Chain processes.

In more detail, the key responsibilities for this position include:

  • S&OP responsibility – Ensure demand plan evaluation and alignment in SAP APO.
  • Planning process – Support the team to ensure good synchronized production planning in all areas.
  • Ensure high quality & ownership of the order fulfillment processes in the plant.
  • Problem solver and improvement driver.
  • Inventory follow up – Plan for every part and stock reduction projects.
  • Data driven supply chain – Data analysis and tool development for the production.
  • Procurement focus – Supplier performance monitoring and support as well as logistical setup of supplier.
  • Global supply chain – Projects, global alignment, communication and intercompany planning.
  • Lead local supply chain improvement/optimization projects.
  • Preparation for SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
  • Support team members with tools & training.

Background and skills

To be considered for this position, you are/have:

  • A relevant educational background and at least 3-5 years of experience within supply chain management and processes.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • SAP R/3 knowledge, preferably, you are a specialist in production execution and Inventory management.
  • Super user in Excel.
  • Experience in S&OP process, SAP APO planning.
  • Experience in BIW & Access is an advantage.

Furthermore, it is important that you are a team player and flexible with your tasks, and that you bring good energy and positivity to your surroundings. Your communication skills cover both high and low in the organization, and you use your personal drive to meet deadlines and engage in your tasks. You have an eye for details, can think ahead and thrive in a busy environment. Last, but not least, you are willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business.

It is mandatory that your English skills are excellent both verbally and in writing and we see it as an advantage if you speak, write, and understand Danish.
