Senior PHP developer (5-8 yrs experience)
Could you be the senior developer we are looking for? As an experienced, hands on PHP developer, you have the skills to deliver complex solutions while working with a team of dedicated people. You bring (software) architecture skills, development methodologies that can help us take our client solutions to the next level.
Our current environment is Apache, PHP 5, MySQL 5. We work with Zend, Symphony, Phalcon, SOAP/REST, Solr, Solarium, jQuery, PHPUnit and Codeception. We use an agile approach with daily standups and frequent small releases. Our code is in GitHub, our planning in Pivotal Tracker and we spin up new servers with Puppet. Do you master most of these technologies and tools, can you lead others to do the same and do you know the strengths and weaknesses of PHP frameworks? Do you have ideas on how to optimize database performance and define and document a well-structured API? Do you have experience with transactions and payment systems (or would you like to)? Do you know how to scale a (mobile) platform and built a robust architecture?
Can we ask for more?
As lead developer, you must understand the commercial priorities of serving customers, and in particular the need to accurately forecast development and implementation timeframes.
Do you closely follow technology trends? Can you deliver data processing on a serious scale? Can you deliver structured code that -really – scales?
If the answer to the above items is substantially yes, then you may be the senior developer we are looking for. We should talk soon!

- Your English should be good; Dutch comes in handy, but is not a requirement
