About this opportunity

You will be part of the IT development team working in OBC in Gdansk and Metro in Copenhagen, which is responsible for delivering and maintaining derivatives risk platform that provides the online support for our traders in real time. Our aim is to create a highly scalable and flexible system allowing our trading area to react with speed on new business opportunities and regulations.

You will be responsible of one or more components in the systems supporting the price and risk calculations provided to derivatives trading team on the trading floor in close collaboration with business, quant team and other IT areas.

We imagine that you can meet the following qualifications: 

Required qualifications:

  • Java developer with at least 5 years of experience as a developer
  • Previous experience with React or other similar frameworks like Angular, Ember…
  • Goal oriented with a proven track record of meeting goals and deliveries
  • Enjoys interaction with other people
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Advantageous qualifications:

  • Experience with agile development
  • Experience with Jira, Stash, Git, Bamboo, Jenkins…
  • Experience in banking or Investment Banking
  • Experience with Python, Redis, Docker, Kafka, ActivePivot
  • Relevant university qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle databases
  • Cloud configured environment
