As a Senior Frontend Developer for Catena Media, you will be responsible for the production of all frontend activities. From after design phase, to 100% implementation on web, tablets and mobile devices.

Ideally you are a strong team player, with a can-do approach and need minimal supervision. You have great passion for code, performance and new technologies. We are after candidates with 5 years’+ experience.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain, front end components of our platform (widgets, various JavaScript frameworks/SDKs)

• Work in all phases of software development to ensure the proper usage of best practices, patterns and development methodologies

• Ensure web development follows responsive paradigm

• Work closely with all members of the Agile team, to deliver high-quality code, that is tested and delivered across the full software development life cycle

• Develop and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

• Ensure all code is tested and code reviewed to the highest standards

 

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of CSS3/HTML5 and Javascript (jQuery, AngularJS,…)

• Progressive Enhancement/ Responsive Design Techniques 

• Experience with mobile-first responsive web design

• Knowledge of best-practices for web performance, accessibility and usability

• Records of developing for iPhone, Android, Amazon/Kindle and Facebook apps

• Agile practices ( Scrum master certificate is a plus )

• Lightweight Framework Experience (Laravel would be preference)

• Experience with versioning systems (SVN, Git,…) 

• Knowledge of SEO, would be considered a plus
