Do you have experience with control electronics designs and would are you be enthusiastic about designing control electronics for frequency converters? Then you could be the R&D Design Engineer we are looking for in Danfoss Drives in Gråsten. Along with a professional team, you will to work with the newest technology within control electronics, from the idea phase, over development and design to the product goes into production. Development, innovation and close cross-functional cooperation With reference to the Head of Control Electronics your main focus will be to ensure high level innovative and cost-effective quality solutions participating in product and technology projects. You will work with integrated product development through cross-functional disciplines such as mechanics, power electronics, software, production and testing. Your key responsibilities will include: •Participate in product and technology projects, with control electronics responsibility •Develop Functional Safety circuitry E.g. STO and Safe Fieldbus •Design high speed circuits with focus on signal integrity •Develop digital and analog circuits using a wide range of technologies •Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure integrated product development •Ensure quality assurance of designs using our structured Hardware Development Model •Prepare design and technology documentation As part of the control electronics team, you will gain a solid understanding of our products, and thus the position will be a very good starting point for your further professional development. You can look forward to a very varied job in a unique professional environment with dedicated colleagues and many different tasks. You come to work across national and disciplinary boundaries, and you can expect 10 to 15 annual travel days. Engineer specialised within control Electronics You hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering or electronics. You have some years’ practical experience in developing control electronics, including Functional Safety / Microprocessor / FPGA / SoC / Analog and/or wireless design. If you have knowledge within power electronics, frequency converters or are experienced in working with Six Sigma tools, it is definitely be an advantage. You have a strong drive and work in a structured and responsible manner. You have a professional curiousity and an open mind, both which you use to acquire new knowledge, find alternative solutions and adapt to new workflows.
